German High Seas Fleet Surrenders

On 21 November 1918, ten days after the armistice ending World War I, The Imperial Navy surrendered to the Royal Navy.  The High Seas Fleet was taken to the Royal Navy base of Scapa Flow in Scotland for internment.  Read more about the German Imperial Navy's surrender and the fate of the High Seas Fleet.
